[Version described: 2.53]
Diddlebug is a bitmap editor drawing program. It allows you to draw by tracing directly on the screen with your stylus, by drawing the dimensions of several standard shapes, or by entering and specifying the position of a text string. It permits eight levels of grayscale, which it implements as dither patterns using black and white. Each drawing may have a category and 4096-character note associated with it. This results in the somewhat humorous situation of a commercial program being required to associate a drawing with a 4096-character note, but only a freeware program being required to associate a 4096-character note with a drawing.
Diddlebug also has the humorously named IntelliBooger technology, which lets you “pick and flick” data to other applications. I have not tried any of the IntelliBooger add-ons, and so cannot speak to them.
Like Note Pad, Diddlebug provides simple sketch capability for the Palm OS platform.
