Index

The programs in this section are general physics programs.

The following list shows all programs currently available in this area. You can get to the page for an individual program by clicking on the name of the program in the following list or in the navigation panel to the left.

Name

Description

Vector Sum

A program that forms the sum of a number of two-dimensional vectors. Each vector may be described in either rectangular coordinates (X and Y) or polar coordinates (R and Theta). The sum is given in both rectangular coordinates and polar coordinates.

Right Triangle Solution

A program that computes all measurements of a right triangle, given any two sides or any one side and any acute angle.

Newton’s Second Law Solution

A program that computes the unknown quantity in the equation F = ma, given any two of the quantities.

Uniform Acceleration Solution

A program that computes the factors of a body undergoing uniform acceleration that can be deduced from a given set of factors.

Ohm’s Laws

A program that computes the factors of a simple resistance circuit that can be deduced from the other factors.
